Admission Procedure

1. Any student who has passed the Higher Secondary Examination recognized as equivalent there to may be admitted to the first conducted by the CHSE , Odisha or any other examination semester of the first year of three year degree course in this I college . Admission to honors course preferred by a student shall be made as per the rules prescribed in the common prospectus for the +3 e – admission issued by the department of Higher Education , Odisha .
   1. A student shall be admitted to the first semester of the first year degree course in science stream if he / she has passed the Higher Secondary Examination in Science or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to
   2. A student shall be admitted to the first semester of the first year degree course in Arts / Sc . stream , if he / she has passed the Higher Secondary Examination in Arts / Science / Commerce or any other . examination recognized as equivalent there to .
2. Admission to the 1st year of Three Year Degree Course Arts / Science shall be made as per the date line fixed by the dept . of H.E. Odisha every year .
3. Admission to the second and 3rd year of the course shall be made within four weeks from the date of reopening of the college after the summer vacation.

Subject Restrictions

1. One subject cannot be chosen as both Hons & Elective .
2. No student shall be allowed to take Math as Honours or Elective subject if he / she has not passed mathematics in Higher secondary or any equivalent examination .

For detail knowledge about the period of each subject and mark division for compulsory , honors and elective subjects in Arts , Science , students should go through new courses of studies released by November for the current session.

Duration of Classes:

1. Every lecture period shall be of 45 minutes duration and the duration of each practical class shall be of 135 minutes.
2. A general class in every stream / subject shall have a of 128 students and each practical group shall not exceed 16 students.

Application:

1. For +3 1st year, as per Govt. of Odisha H. E. Notification from time to time.
2. An application for +3 IInd yr . or IIIrd yr . is as per the regulation of MSCBU.

Documents needed to apply for admission, along with the Application Form:

1. Attested Xerox copy of SLC or CLC
2. Attested Xerox copy of Mark Sheet .
3. Attested Xerox copy of Conduct Certificate .
4. Attested Xerox copy of Caste Certificate for SC and ST students .
5. Money receipt of Application form .
6. Two photograph on the form
7. Adhar Card
8. Bank Pass Book

Documents needed at the time of Admission:

1. Original SLC or CLC
2. Original Mark Sheet .
3. Original Caste Certificate for SC & ST students .
4. Original Conduct Certificate.
5. Two stamp size photographs excluding the one affixed on the application form.
6. Original Migration Certificate from the previous institute.
