NSS

The University has provisions of one Boys’ units and one Girls’ unit consisting of 50 volunteers in each unit in order to foster the idea of social service and dignity of labour in the mind of the students and to engage the students for social reconstruct ion.

Since 1986 June Literacy Programme has been started by N.S.S. volunteer to eradicate illiteracy in India by 1990. The guiding philosophy of N.S.S. in this regard is: Sikhya Dan Maha Punya, The Slogan is: “Each one teach five.“
